Christian Church in Kansas City: Obstacles Bring Victory Pt.1

< Back to Blog

At The Cure, Christian Church in Kansas City we know what it’s like to face obstacles…and we know what it’s like to overcome them.

We know that not every Christian Church in Kansas City talks about the realities of facing obstacles, but we know it is a real issue.

Are you facing some insurmountable obstacle? Some challenge that seems next to impossible?

We face challenges many times in a year if not in a day. Our human just does not like challenges or obstacles.

However these can be the very that God uses to bring victory.

That bad day can catapult you into His promise. That obstacle can be the very thing God uses to shape your character.

Just like us, here at The Cure Christian Church in Kansas City, The children of Israel knew all about obstacles. With the red sea before them and the enemy behind them

they thought they were trapped. What they didn’t realize is that they were in God’s perfect will.

Now the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to the children of Israel, that they turn and camp before Pi Hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea,

opposite Baal Zephon; you shall camp before it by the sea.

For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, ‘They are bewildered by the land;

the wilderness has closed them in.’ Then I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, so that he will pursue them; and I will gain honor over Pharaoh and over all his army,

that the Egyptians may know that I am the Lord.” And they did so. Ex 14:2-4 NKJV

The children of Israel could see no way out and, though Moses was sent to deliver them, the people were in doubt but God was saying through Moses,

“Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today.

For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” Ex 14:13-14 NKJV
I want to encourage you. Don’t let doubt cloud your vision. God can be trusted and He will bankrupt heaven to keep His word to you.
